(no subject)
my entire week has consisted of me going to my sister's house to help her out with annelise. it's been great. i've been missing my sis, so its been great to see her everyday and watching my new niece is amazing. its so neat to see her change day to day, especially since she was a month preemie, so i shouldnt even get to see her yet. tomorrow morning it is back to guelph to get ready for classes. i'm excited to go back and see everyone who has moved out, but i'll miss my baby fix. next weekend is my conference in ottawa, so i wont get to see annelise for 2 weeks. it's gunna be rough since i have seen her everyday since she has been born. she's too beautiful for words.
on a side note, since my sister popped her kid early i can go to some great concerts in TO that i hadn't bought tix to because they were around my sister's due date.
i did a lot of research for my london trip today, once i get my class schedule i'll be able to see if i can go (oh, and i need to talk to cait about it A LOT) but it looks like it just may happen, for around 1250 bucks, which isnt that bad. plus i'll get to see megz and v, how freaking cool is that?

3. Gig that was the most fun?
Maroon 5 in Rochester - it was before they hit it big, the first headlining show that I saw them, roadtripping is always fun, they hung out with us all day, and they talked about us on stage, plus they wanted us to follow them to Ohio! it was a riot
4. Most disappointing gig?
John Mayer at the ACC. I'd seen him before and been blown away, but this time he sounded exactly like the record. plus the people i went with weren't the best and the seats sucked.
5. Name a band no longer around that you wish you'd seen:
Jeff Buckley - the most talent musician i have ever heard
6. Name a current band that you'd like to see:
Marc Broussard, i just missed him in TO dammit!
7. If you could only see one band live for the rest of your life, who would it be?
Maroon 5, did you even have to ask?

I'd have to say Blur. Damn that Damon Alburn is sexxxay. That show was a riot.

Starsailor opening for the Charlatans, my sis and i had a spur of the moment concert to go see them headline because they were so good

Maroon 5 in Rochester, you can't beat it.
