one sentence

Thought it might be interesting to create some of my own one sentence stories. Feel free to do the same in the comments (anonymously if you want.)



We were all nineteen, tangled up in each other, keeping secrets from the stars.

I always give a false name in restaurants where they call out your order, because it's fun to pretend I'm someone else, even for just a few minutes.

On the day she died, the entire mountain wept slanted rain and bitter wind, but we were safe and warm and so very, very alive.

The candle on the stove top marked the birthday you never had, and when the flame died as I walked past, my desire to have children was snuffed out.

I know if I make it through the winter, spring will never disappoint me.
