LOL! I think, I know what's happening there, because I also have a parallel world plotbunny (though it will be a totally different story).
My guess: The explosion of the laboratory somehow mixed up two parallel worlds: the canon world, as we know it, with Klaus and Dorian NOT being lovers and the "parallel world" with Klaus and Dorian being lovers. And know the real world Klaus and the parallel world Klaus have switched places (or is it Dorian that switched the place? Hm... Klaus somehow makes more sense).

Can't wait to read the next part of this story! And I really like this story idea! *g*

btw: You're also the author of "Mondschein und Sternenlicht", aren't you? Are you going to continue that fic? Because I really hope so ^^°

And since I'm always correcting the German in the fics I read... *lol*

"I'm fine, I told you. Du brauchst doch keine angst zu haben, verliebte..."
-> it should be "Du brauchst doch keine Angst zu haben, Geliebter/Liebling/Schatz..."
(I would leave the "doch" away. It's not wrong but it makes the sentence sound strange. And "Angst" with a capital, because nouns are written capitalised in German. And instead of "verliebte" (which is an adjective and means rather "to be in love") it should be Geliebter, Liebling or Schatz (meaning lover/darling).)

Ah... I know that problem with the "things in between" missing. That's how ALL of my plotbunnies are: I have an idea, a beginning and I ALWAYS know how it ends, but the rest.... *aüshtaoiöüwuzähsror089bgh*!!!

*g* I checked, after reading this fic here, at fried-potatoes.com (since it's easier to save fics from there than from lj...) and read chapter 2 and 3. Hehe. And I was right! xD (Okay, since the title of your story is "Parallel" it is pretty clear *lol*. Man, and I really could kick my ass for being so slow and haven't already written my parallel world story, for which I'm having a plotbunny since MONTHS (since sometime last year how riothouse and mprice can attest, who had to listen to my stupid plot ideas *lol
