Asexual as noted (nice to see a poll where it's actually an option!), but I kind of have the opposite of the "mostly read, write a little" option. I mostly write, and read a little - and only if it's an author who I know will treat the characters with dignity rather than "OMG THIS ONE IS THE CUTE UKE AND THIS ONE IS THE HOT SEME". I only occasionally read fanfic at all, actually, and particularly hate generic slash. ;)

I am probably the same in the writing aspect, but I have been reading an awful lot lately.

You will be pleased to note that the essay the spawned this was about the lack of acknowledgment of asexuals in slash!

Not whiny at all. If it were, I'd've stopped reading. Whining is one of the things I'm intolerant of.

Good to know. I have seen far too many whiny asexuals who seem to think the rest of the world should stop enjoying sex just because they're not interested in it.

...Well, I'm not interested in hockey, either, but I'm not going to write a letter to all the papers in the state and whine about them making today's top story about a particular player retiring. ;)

Seconded. I work around a ton of whiners like that. We're currently trying to figure out how to have them argue amongst themselves.
