The potato sculpture speaks very clearly to my Irish ancestry :)

Your pic of the 'Iron Coach' has been gnawing at my mind since you first posted it. What if.... what if Klaus had to go under cover for a mission posing as the new coach for some obscure, minor, small-town football club, but the mission went on and on without resolution so he had to stay in his football-coach persona for a long time. Then, the a bigger football club offered him a contract, and to stay in character and under cover, he couldn't refuse, so he got a promotion to a bigger coaching job with a bigger club ... and then again, and again ... until he ends up being offered the job of coach for the national team. He's still under cover, with whatever complicated case he's working on. And he has to choose - does he take the coaching job? Can he dedicate enough time to the coaching job while he's still on a mission? If playing on the national team was a childhood dream he hasn't been able to fulfill, maybe coaching the national team is another childhood dream ... and this one is within his grasp, if he thinks he can do the job and catch the KGB as well.... H'mmm. I wonder if that could be made to work? :D

Not a bad idea for a fic! :D I mean it's not too hard to imagine the major to have an under cover persona like that. Or maybe he'd be coaching the alphabet to be a professional level football team... But anyway, especially if it were happening in cold war times, I guess that'd be a credible identity to for example enter the Soviet Union (or East Germany) for a mission under an excuse of a friendly match between two nations.
