Someone to root for
My dad pointed out an article in the local newspaper here in Bozeman about a friend of mine, Mike Rosengren. It was so cool to read and hear about his success as a snowboarder. He's the #1 American in boardercross this year, and got a spot on the U.S. snowboarding team. He just placed third in the Gravity Games. He placed third in the ESPN X Games a couple years ago, too.
Mike is such a great guy, I am so happy for him. You couldn't meet anyone more humble or unassuming. He's an amazing athlete, but he's just snowboarding because he loves to, and because he wants to be a witness and reach out to the snowboarding community.
