Normally I don't get freaked out very easily, but tonight was an exception. I was in our basement garage, looking through the freezer for meat. Then, out of the corner of my eye I saw a grey flash of fur. A rat ran from underneath a couch to underneath the fridge, it moved so fast!
The thing almost ran over my feet, it was so close. It was big...and made a thump sound as it hit a cardboard box when it ran by. Geeeez, I'm still getting the shivers. Time to break out the poison or something. Where's a cat when you need it?
