FoF-Fear of Flying, Fear of Failing
Waking up to news of a thwarted terrorist attack was not the best wakeup call today. Waking up to news of a successful terrorist attack would have been much worse, but it is still frightening, to say the least. The fact that these people have no fear of death is the really scary element to me.
Of course, today was the day that I was offered to fly to Boston for the weekend to work the Tax-Free Weekend in one of our Massachusetts stores. I declined it, due to my dual FoFs. I feel like a chump for saying no, but my insecurities trump my desire to see Boston. I do hope that my DM considers me if another opportunity presents itself. It's just not a good time now.
I guess I am a bit more of a pussy than I realized. Oh well.
