World Cyber Games, SEA History and cute models.

Woke up, read the tutorials.. till 2pm... milled around... before leaving off to meet Paper and Alan... for what? World Cyber Games Grand Finale!

How it ranked up against the WCG singapore preliminaries I went for the past few years?
Give us more of those glitz for the Singapore preliminaries and I will love you, Singapore WCG organisers. But something obviously lack in the pyrotechnics(No there were actually no fireworks.. just lots of smoke) and all the grandeur of it... no passion.. or it simply feels very sterile.. the presence of the local community seemed to have disappeared or was never there.

Even the cosplays... or hired models were so polished.. of course they were cute and quite pretty. One of the highlights was Fiona Xie, people were like "It is Fiona Xie!!!" *dies*. Well it was pretty nothing much to cause a furore.. at least the upsets were enough.

First thing, Fury lost to Flyshow. And people are saying Flyshow got lucky or something.. well, my personal opinion of Flyshow is that he is not given enough credit that the outside world has on him. Well of course, most people's eyes are simply blinded by the fanboys in them, "ZOMG a member of 4Kings lost." Yea, so what? Life goes on, 4K.Fury dont become a noob overnight. Grubby lost a game to Sky... so?
The anti-Grubby brigade went into overdrive.. and Fov losing to Vankor was well debated as well.. unless the replays are out, it is not possible to give any proper evaluation of the games. One thing.. few people fail to see is that one's skill is beyond the result, many things are not noticed by the normal gamer.

The Best of 1 format was not very helpful, but the few number of maps help to leverage it to some way but even so I would prefer best of 3.

Too early to call, who will claim the TFT crown but something tells me a HU or NE player is going to win this. *Wears a flame suit*

The CS games were pretty fun as well and Sweden is out.
Silent_Control lost.. on the SC side as well

This is a carnival of gaming not a marketplace for fools. Enjoy the festivities and good luck Singapore.
