Useless Talent # 38

All right kids. I've been meaning to make this post for a bit, considering a bunch of new shows have started and I haven't actually written about my thoughts yet. So yeah, here we go. So far, unspoilery, I've liked pretty much everything that I've seen so far. I'm easy to please I think, but ah well. Anyways. Spoilers under the cut of course.

SJA:
As much as I loathe the Slitheen (almost as much as Daleks) the rest of the episode when you ignore the bits with the Slitheen in them were pretty good. I adored Sarah being all "Call me Sarah, don't call me Mum." and then at the end doing it anyways.

I still like Maria, she's a nice contrast to Luke and Clyde. That being said, I like Clyde. Much more then Kelsey, and I just like him all together. The line about teh vinegar and plastic squeezies made me giggle.

I adore Luke to iddy biddy pieces. He's the cutest thing. I want to squish him. I wasn't sure I was going to, but me (and my inner SJ) think he's the cutest son in the whole world. He's innocent without being obnoxious which is good.

We finally get some actual Alan/Sarah stuff. I can't say whether or not they have UST yet but I do think there was a moment he went 'guh hot older woman' but maybe that's just my wishful thinking. Either way, can't wait for next week.

Heroes:

Things of interest: Molly having two daddy's. I hope this means Parkman and Mohinder are gonna gay it up. That would be amusing. Also Mohinder working with Bennet to infiltrate the Company. Speaking of Noah, him being completely bad ass in Kinko's and not even getting up to break that punk's hand. He's hawt.

Ando and Sulu.. I mean Hiro's dad.. talking and hanging out was cool. I like the new plot, one of the 9. I guess they mean originals maybe? I dunno. Is Angela Petrelli dead? Who knows? Hiro was made of win, finding out his hero is a white guy (and Sark yay~!) of which (and this is just speculation) he's gonna have to do all the heroish stuff himself and then just blame it on Takei or whatever.

Claire was okay, not too much to write home about. Her brother's grown up awful fast. The dinner scene was amusing. And of course Peter being all chained up and naked and bloody and stuff. That's hot. :P

The not so interesting/I don't like bits: Uh.. Lumberjack!Nathan. Ew. He looks like he belongs on Lost. And he's taken on the role as emo!brother. Maybe he and Claude should have beard contests.

That stalker guy of Claire's. He's boring and he's creepy and I don't like him.

House:

Very funny. I didn't miss the Ducklings at all. Not one of them, sorry. The Cuddy/House interaction was fantastic, so was the Cuddy/Wilson and especially the Wilson/House stuff. The guitar shit was hilarious. I love when Wilson makes funny voices and is a general menace. It's adorable.

I hope he doesn't go through all these people and then realize he just really needs his team back and woes. Psh. I say bring on the newbies. Keep things fresh. I hope Olivia Wilde stays a bit, cause nngh she's hot.

The patient of the week this week was neat, and so was the janitor guy. A very funny episode so I'm looking forward to next week

Next up is GA and Private Practice. Nngh Kate Walsh. Yum.
