Um, so this is what I've been waiting for? Cramps that wake me up in the middle of the night? Yay.
So, anticipating near-crippling pain today (and yes, I've had aspirin -- can't start the wine until dinner, dammit ^_^;), I'm planning on doing laundry and working on Mother's Day cards. Maybe sleeping. At least my mood is no longer PMS-y. ^_^
We DID give blood last night, and it DID work! Mein Gott, after all the traumas I've had lately, last night was really easy. I simply asked for the most experienced phlebotomist, and it was like one-two-three-oh-is-the-needle-in? Which was good on more than one level since I felt like HELL yesterday: the period had started, I'd had a headache, had cramps, and was fatigued to the point where I had difficulty talking and keeping my eyes open. And it was so easy. Whew! My 75th pint! Go me!
Had a dream last night that the world ended. Three times. It always started right up again, where it left off, though with little variations. Most people didn't even know the world ended, just some people from our Sangha. Kyogen was there. He wouldn't answer my question, "Why didn't we know about this before?" The end of the world was a huge wall of water, like the surface of a lake turned vertical, that slowly approached. We gave offerings at the altar as it came. Then the world started again, and only a few of us knew it had ever happened.
There was much more, including Earthsea (sort of) with the addition of Hobbits and Donald Duck (?!?!); magic; and other cool stuff I can't remember, dammit. ^_^;
Okay, off to read
doewalking's
HP fanfic, then laundry and card-making. ^__^
