Sigh! No one on the 2009 Apocalyptothon wrote for Sesame Street. I'm just cross-posting the prompts to see if I'll get inspired.

Request 5 - fandom: Sesame Street
Details: Oscar the Grouch can always find the best garbage. Now that Sesame Street's a pile of smoldering rubble, he's in heaven!

Request 5 - fandom: Sesame Street (oh dear)
Details: The story should be aptly titled "St. Elmo's Fire."

Request 5 - fandom: Sesame Street (I can't resist! I'm going to hell, but I can't resist!)
Details: The global pandemic has changed the lessons that Sesame Street has for us, especially since the creatures known as Muppets seem to be immune to the disease that is slowly wiping out humanity. (Bonus points if you can work show segments into this somehow, like Grover's globetrotting adventures to children around the world becoming part of humanitarian aid efforts, or perhaps 'Journey to Ernie' changed to a search for Patient Zero?) No zombies in this one, please. (Angsty and dramatic would rock!)

Request 4 - fandom: The Muppet Show/Sesame Street
Details: Something harkening back to the early Muppet movies. A post-apocalyptic road trip? Any rating.

2010 Prompts (so far):
apocalypsosRequest 4 - fandom: The Muppet Show/Sesame Street
Details: All of the Muppets thought they'd be safe from the plague that killed everyone else until Kermit's seams started to fray. (I know that's a bit meta, but I was going to use that as my first sentence last year and the story wouldn't come no matter how much I loved that line.)
