poltics and fools

i've always hated politics. what that word translates into today is 'lies behind a smile'. derived from the Latin or somesuch. the countrys government has become comprised largely of rich powercrazed old guys who KNOW what it is that this country needs, and will say whatever they have to in order to implement said ideals. the quality of those offered up for public consumption has degraded over the last few decades as well. this isn't to say we should expect someone of angelic qualities to run for to be the big tamale, but what we've gotten recently has been about as good as getting kicked in the face every day for thirty years. i'm willing to bet that for the next fifty years, we're just going to be getting more of the same, and quite possibly worse. i'm bloody tired of everyone getting up and defaming Bush. someone needs to say a bit of bad about this Kerry fellow, or at least prove to the masses that he's not this well muscled gleaming chested Warrior of Right come to dethrone an evil prince. he's a man. a man with hair that i have officially decried as the work of satan. i've never been honestly scared by a persons hair, or lack thereof, but his hair is genuinely evil in some bizare way. there's always the minor issue of how he can't hold a perspective on any issue for longer than the span of a few seconds, constantly contradicts himself, and is a buffoon. Bush isn't the best either, and everyone knows his sins, mistakes, etc. but voting against him just to vote against him is idiocy. in the effort to make the bad man go away, i'm curious what shit they're going to land themselves in with their Evilly Folicled Hero.

i, on the other hand, am in the process of removing myself from society, and could really give a fuck less about the shit people invest themselves in. i'll just be sitting on my back porch laughing while i drink a beer.
