We decided to stop in FAO Schwarz
New York is also a fan of the Legos.
BIG LEGO FANS
Not Legos, but jelly beans! This was by the little candy section.
We went up the escalator, where Anthony got really excited about this STUFFED ANIMAL.
Like, seriously excited. He was wondering around the store trying to find a toy sword, so we could take a picture where it looked like he was slaying the dragon.
On the way to find a sword, we stopped in at Diagon Alley and Hogwarts.
Anthony's being sorted.
THIS IS THE PIANO FROM BIG WITH TOM HANKS! You could pay to dance across it, but we're poor so we didn't.
FAO Schwarz is famous for its' GIANT STUFFED ANIMALS. You could buy this cow for about $600.
After FAO Schwarz, we went to the Disney Store
This was on one side of the elevator. The Prince was on the other side.
St. Thomas's Cathedral
Some architecture along 5th Ave.
Then we went to Rockefeller Center (again)
This is the skating rink in the winter.
This is probably the cutest I've ever looked in a picture. I mean, um -- look at that statue in the background!
We took a trip to Nintendo World
STILL fond of Legos (51, 324 in this one)
NHL Store next!
GIANT Pav! This wall hanging must've been about 12 feet tall.
They had a computer where you could design your own Reebok. Anthony made these.
This is an Original Six chopper, made by Orange County Choppers
Anthony's dad told us about this restaurant that he had seen on the Travel Channel. It was called John's Pizzeria. The building used to be a church and the original owners bought it because the ceiling in the church looked like a pizza!
The pizza was delicious! It was huge and oven-baked thin crust with cheese and pepperoni. It was kind of an expensive place to eat, but it was so good!
Very famous restaurant!
McDonald's in Times Square
After dinner, I wanted to try to find the Ed Sullivan Theatre, where David Letterman tapes The Late Show. It was quite the ordeal.
We passed Radio City a bajillion times on our quest.
This is my absolute favorite street sign EVER.
St. Patrick's Cathedral
Atlas statue outside of Rockefeller Center
We asked FOUR different POLICE OFFICERS how to get to the Ed Sullivan Theater, and each one of them told us different streets to go to. It was a wild goose chase, but we finally found the place. (Okay, I don't even like David Letterman, but I feel like it's something you should do when you're in NY.)
Karen, these are totally for you! It was Fleet Week, which meant MEN IN UNIFORM EVERYWHERE YOU TURNED!
Sailors
These are from the bathroom of our hotel. We were so close to the Empire State Building.
