and so the year ends...

Bye 2010 and hello 2011!

Much has happened in the year that passed and I believe that it may go down as one of the worst for me. There have been a lot of losses in the year that was. Challenges arose that I never even knew I would be able to get through. To elaborate on these would make this post too full of drama (which I am trying to avoid based on my previous one) and besides, I don't think it's a good way to start the year.

So, being the optimist I believe I am, I'd like to think that this year opened up a lot of opportunities for me for 2011.

I've been neck deep in work lately and I really think this year is the year. Much like what the e-boys say every time ABL starts, I really think this is my break out season. Yes, I just started. But there's nothing like starting strong. I'll be a regular employee by February and wont be considered as one of the new guys any more! Being able to show what I can do, it's time to step up even more and make heads turn!

I'm finally entering a year as a single man. Out of college, with a decent amount in my account, how can this be not full of opportunities? I wont lie, it makes me excited. Although, whose to say what could happen to the old one. On this case, Imma keep my self open and thats that. This is more for a different post than my year ender.

On a final note, the band is officially back! Happy Hitching has risen and has a new sound to them. We finally came around and went back to the studio (happy's music room :D ) before the year ended. Although we weren't complete, it was a good session that produced two original songs! Surprisingly though, we didn't sound like the high school Happy Hitching that people got used to, but I like it. I REALLY like it. Makes me realize, nothing beats jamming with people you're really in tune with. Kahit gaano katagal na kayong hindi tumutugtog, wala pa ring kupas, iisa pa rin ang tunog. Why did I even try to find a new band?

So watch out 2011, I'm coming in fast.
