Self-indulgent? Is it really self-indulgent when it makes other people than yourself happy? :D

I'm so glad you wrote another Newcomers story and I just love your team getting closer and really becoming a team. All their voices are so well written and I love the way you write their slow recuperating from their Mission From Hell. Sooo waiting for another installment :D

It's a public service, really :)

Glad you're still enjoying!

My god, but you're a terrific writer to have me on the edge of my seat worrying about the welfare of a bunch of O.C.s as they struggle with their very real-feeling problems. The canonical characters are drawn realistically and true, too.

I'm so enjoying this series. My only wish would be a page of links putting the stories in the right reading order, or perhaps some sort of time line. I keep getting the feeling I've missed one or two!

Thank you!

I can definitely manage an index (although to be honest, if you think you've missed something it's probably because I was too lazy to write it :)

Add me to the list of those who are overwhelmingly happy over seeing more to this series; I love that Rodney lays down the line to Travers (and I wish I could say that anthropologists hold to the principle of cultural relativity in their daily life, but someofthe most petty and irrational people I've met are anthropologists, alas).

Julia, thrilled to see this!

Some of my best friends are anthropologists... ;)

Great to see a new installment of this series.

No you are not being self-indulgent in having McKay chew out Travers. She is, by implication, challenging his authority as well as Sheppard's. He can't allow that.

Thanks!

(I guess it just feels self-indulgent to write - Rodney on a roll is fun :)

Ah, Janel, yes. She's taking some time to be won round, at the moment...
