Brotherhood rewatch is still going on! We finished all of volume 3 yesterday, so now we have to finish watching it online. THIS SHOW. It really gets better and better as it goes. I think the fourth opening "season" is my favorite, actually. So excited to watch it! Chimera dudes, and Greedling, and Lanfan, and Pride. Nghhh. Favorite

Don't worry Shelby, I feel the same way~

The kids are super awesome and I feel like they are not as loved by fandom! (Except Ed lol) (I mean I love the adults to pieces and Roy and Riza and their OTP love have been with me for years, but idk, the kids just make me feel more ~*feelings*~ when it comes to fanworks and stuff and stuff #rambling)

And swings = always the most fun.

IT'S NOT LIKE I DON'T LOVE ROY AND RIZA. I just wish there'd be more stuff about Ling and Lanfan and May. :C

Royai has always been the most popular pairing followed by Ed/Winry

To be fair there aren't a lot of well written adult romances in anime/manga so I think that is why Roy/Riza resonates so much with a lot of people. And Ed and Winry have that very classic shounen/friendship romance.

Another reason why these two pairings are the most popular is because the characters have been around longer and you have some people who were introduced to them from the first crap anime which the Xing characters were not part of.

I would say Ling though is very popular in the fandom.

Yeah, I totally understand why those pairings are the most popular, and I love them! SO MUCH! But meanwhile I am here all alone, my favorite pairings being Al/May and Ling/Lanfan/Greed. WHICH NO ONE WRITES.

I ALWAYS WANT MOST WHAT I CAN NEVER HAVE.

Well Al/May is my FMA OTP. Actually technically I like Al/May, Ed/Winry, Roy/Riza, Ling/Ran Fan equally but Al/May just has a special place in my heart for me because it grew from something so little to something so big.

But I guess I am okay with the lack of fanfiction since I don't read it for FMA anyways (except one shots occasionally). FMA has this special place for me where I am content with where it ended and don't need more (except if more is written by Arakawa).
