First project for drawing class

Today, I finished my first long assignment for my Core Drawing class. Tomorrow's going to be our first critique, I'm really excited! Ready for this to get ripped apart, haha.

Anyways, the assignment was to do two semi-blind contour drawings of two completely different objects, and then do one drawing that depicts the two objects "transforming" into each other. It was a really interesting assignment, since with contour drawings, you can't lift your pencil from the paper or erase any marks you make.

Here's the two objects I chose. Totally different, but they do go along with the same theme: SHOWERS!

The towel was really fun, but I kept losing my place, haha.

The shower caddy, and the beginning of the morph.

Aaaand, the final drawing! This only took about 2 hours. I'm not completely happy with it but I can't really go back and change things now...

And my skeleton dude now has a head! WOO.

Ugh, tomorrow's my day with classes from 8:30 AM to 6:15 PM. That's why I made sure to finish Friday's homework (the skeleton) by today.
