Weee, Pixar was SO COOL.
I got there, and I was like "OMG THIS IS PIXAR" I had to go in by myself, and I was probably really nervous and flustered looking, haha. We actually didn't have time for the full tour, because I was spending my time talking to the director of Pixar University, Dawn, and one of their top animators, Andrew Gordon!
I showed them my portfolio, and Andrew said he thought I was pretty good for high school, and he encouraged me to apply to CalArts! :D :D I definitely want to visit there at some point...
I got to go up and meet the animation interns! They were really nice and gave me some good advice for schools. :)
Amie gave me some awesome swag! An Up tote filled with WALL-E and general Pixar goodies. (I got a WALL-E notebook, paddleball, and stickers!) :D :D Then we went to the gift shop and I got myself a shirt and a sweatshirt. Which are awesome.
Weee, that was great, I hope to go again someday. :)
Oh, and I'm so keeping the "visitor" badge.
ETA: Oh, and Andrew said he liked my character designs and wanted to see them animated. XD
