Letter to Logan's Roadhouse...

I visited this location on Friday, May 20th. I have been there 14 times (I use Foursquare, so that's the only reason I know the #). With the exception of one time, I have always ordered the Anything & Everything salad. I absolutely love it and suggest it to everyone I know.

The recent visit was a good/bad experience.

The Good:
The server - Cheryl - was a terrific person. She was speedy with a drink refill and checked in on me often (but not so much that it was annoying). When the salad was delivered, I was surprised with the first bite of chicken that it seemed to be more moist than usual - almost like it had been grilled and then put into a steam pan.

The Bad:
I the bacon wasn't as finely chopped as it normally would have been. I also noticed that the bacon, although crispy (so I know it was cooked), had a slight "film" of fat on it; much like you would see if you left it in a cooling pan. Then, after I had already gotten about half-way through the salad, I realized that there were no tomatoes on it.

I was there on my lunch break so I didn't want to "complain" to Cheryl since she isn't the kitchen staff nor did I have time to have her flag down a manager. I did, however, want to make sure that I brought this to someone's attention.

I've told many people about this location and my favourite entree, but I hope that I am not steering them to a place that isn't consistently good. Unfortunately, I have seen it commented on Foursquare that "Their food is not the best. Service is good though." (https://foursquare.com/venue/17553666)
