googly goo

I am slowly and painfully sinking back into my drudging Ellensburg life. My 90 year old professor in my psychopathology and diagnosis class has said the words "googly goo" once in every class we have had so far, when referring to things of a ridiculous nature, it is quite hilarious and makes me smile despite the fact that his lectures are almost as incoherent as the statistics professor. I'm plunking away at the library key boards that click loudly and quickly in harmony with the other 30 sets of fingers doing the same. Will I miss this musical round when I look back on my graduate school days? Probably not. What I really want to know, along with rosie thomas, is why do good friends go away. Worlds converge briefly and then memories taunt my emotions. What creates such percieved distance? My thoughts are disjointed tonight.
