The beach was beautiful. Poor Owen burnt a little (a nice pink color), but he was a good sport about it. Odd, because I kept making him reapply his sunblock and it STILL happened. I wish I could be so fair... but I'm too Italian. 8D ITALIANS CAN BE CUTE TOO!
Now everyone's so revved up about the last Twilight book, though these things aren't that big in my town, praise the Lord! I'd honestly LOVE to get excited about such a theatrical event, with its dramaz and pre-release midnight costumed parties and so forth, but I can't. It's too poorly written, and there are plot flaws that bother me intensely (not to mention the characters... Mary-Sues are no fun when so FLAT).
Tomorrow I start my illustration classes. I'm kind of nervous, since I never think of myself as a visual arts person, more of a writer/textile-y sort of girl, and here I am with 18x24 inch pads and beautiful brushes, and I feel so unworthy. I guess I'm intimidated by my own art supplies! Haha.
And oh lord. Lolita dilemma, for serious... I've wanted the white BABY violin bag for a very long time and it's on Mbok now, relatively cheap, but BABY is also rereleasing the Pockets Embroidery JSK (in BLUE!) and that's ALSO a dream item of mine. What do I do? I may have a babysitting gig this week, which would help considerably, but still... oh lord.
