Bravery & overcomming fear are attributes & lessons I'm learning as an adult.
The willingness to be wrong & ok with it. The willingness to take a flying leap. In general, I prefer my feet on the ground. To trust another person, & not be afraid or feel victimized.
Seeing a new generation come up is wonderful & interesting. While two of us fought the institution & allegedly made life miserable, another took the rules & played that game like a pro. Who is happy?
The kids in my life, if my own or those I care for, I hope are rebellious shit starters. I hope they're punks. I hope they have friends I wouldn't choose & take calculated risks.
