"Idiocy Watch"
Today I failed to turn in an assignment on time, simply because there are not enough hours in the day to accommodate the academic hell that has been my week.
You may not think that turning in a late assignment is significant, however this is the FIRST late assignment I have EVER had. *laugh*
I enjoy firsts.
In other news, I was reading “The New Republic” today. It’s a pretty good magazine, granted its no Economist (which I LOVE), but in the spirit of seeking new alternatives, I decided to check out the former. Anyway, I came across a highly entertaining quote (and you thought Bush was bad with combining 9/11 and Iraq):
“America is engaged in two wars for the survival of its civilization. The war over same-sex marriage and the war against Islamic totalitarianism are actually two fronts in the same war-a war for the preservation of the unique American creation known as Judeo-Christian civilization.”
