Oh Kingdom Hearts. I love you and all your heartbreaking silliness. And other people do too! Like this one person (does anyone happen to know who? Because I'd love to credit them.) who decided to explain to people just what exactly is going on in these games, in chronological order. Illustrated with helpful pictures. Not that the pictures are likely to help you all that much.
... I think my favourite part is "and then he turns into an airship".
I know a few of you have played the first few games but wandered off after KH2. I'm wondering how much sense this document actually makes if you aren't familiar with Days/coded/BbS, especially Birth by Sleep because good grief did that game ever add complications to the plot. (I love it. With Kingdom Hearts, I don't even care how convoluted the plot gets. This document handily illustrates how hilarious it can get but if you're familiar enough with it... or maybe just if you're invested enough in these guys... it kind of... actually... makes sense. In a way. But as I said, I don't even care about that, because whether it makes sense or makes your head spin, Kingdom Hearts has it right in the name: It walks right past my brain and throws itself at my heart, refusing to let go. I've bawled my eyes out over Days and BbS and let us not forget all the heartbreaking and heart-warming moments of KH1, Chain and KH2... I juuuust loooove aaaaaall of theeeeeem.)
Enough talk, here's the Kingdom Hearts timeline with pictures! (it's obvious that this is the most spoiler-filled thing ever, right?)
... and it doesn't even go into how Braig/Xigbar of all people might very well be one of three characters who really have an idea what's going on anymore. pfffffff--
