I've read the screenplays for Before Sunrise and Before Sunset about three or four times since David gave them to me for xmas. It's fucking me up like woah. Sometimes I feel like all my emotions are experienced vicariously through characters in movies or in books. I'll sob like a little girl for the smallest things on a screen, but never at what's right in front of me in real life. I don't feel detatched, but how else could you explain it? Real life isn't as polished, it's always so much more complicated and multifacted. I get caught up in observing and forget to feel anything.

Shhh...I should be asleep.
