Ok, it's about time I do this...and it might be long - it might not be long, depending on how I feel as I type this.
So on Sunday the 15th Jeff showed up, and my dad gave us a crash course on everything that we needed to know in case we run into car trouble. We then ate a nice big meal and we were off. We got to the border, and even though the guy was a bit of a dick about us going to Florida, we got through. We then drove for a while, and I missed getting a picture of a sign saying Lincoln Park as soon as we were in Michigan. We ended up getting to Ohio, when we decided to call it a night, and stopped at an Econolodge, which are cheap and very nice rooms. We then went and got some A&W for dinner, and chilled in the room and talked.
The next day we got up at 9:30, both had our showers and went to Waffle House for breakfast. It was rather good lol. We then drove all day until we reached just before Georgia, where we stopped for the night at another Econolodge in Tennessee. We ordered some Papa John's and watched RAW, which was emanating from London, my home town lol. It was a good show, and then we went to sleep. Woke up the next day at 9:30 again, did the shower thing and went to another Waffle House. It was good, although this day I felt a little sick after eating. This is when my appetite decreased drastically, and wouldn't stay the same for the rest of the trip. So we drove into Florida and stopped at a McDonald's for dinner, which I barely ate. We then got into Tampa as night fell, and had to get directions to the Amphitheatre. Once we got there, we looked for a hotel, but everything seemed to be sold out, so we ended up in this absolute pile of shit motel, that made me very uneasy.
So finally August 18th was here. I woke up a little early and got ready. Jeff wanted Waffle House, so we ended up eating there. I ate everything except my whole waffle, but then proceeded to throw it all up in the bathroom. We then went and waited in line outside the doors at the concert. Finally the gates opened and we went in and parked. I saw another STer and asked if he was helping out at the show, and he said yes, but he was having a hard time getting a hold of Crystal. Finally we did, and Jeff went back to the car and waited until the crowd died down. We got in, and I finally met Jazz. Jazz is really stunning up close, and it was cool to be near her, even though we barely talked lol. And I didn't join the club. Anyways, I went and helped with the booth, and assembled programs etc. When they were done, Crystal gave me some fliers, which I went around passing out, but then noticed a lot of other people were passing them out and they were all over the ground, so I said that is stupid, and went back to the booth to see if there was anything else I could do. Instruction was wrapping up and getting ready for their signing at the booth now, so Crystal seemed a little testy, and this is where I started to get the impression that she didn't like me. I pretty much was told to fuck off lol, but I stuck around for the signing, and got a PR sampler signed by Instruction. I would later meet No Warning and Funeral For A Friend, who were all really nice, and were all amazed when I told them I had driven up from Canada lol. To wrap this section up, I got totally caught in the thunderstorm and was soaked from head to toe. My signed PR sampler got totalled and my ticket was in bad shape lol. I am glad I didn't bring my camera in, cuz it probably would have gotten ruined. Anyways, after the second stage closed down, and I helped take down the booth, I finally went and met Jeff at our seats, and Snoop Dogg was playing. Snoop was alright, but I didn't really pay attention, as I was starting to feel sick. Jeff left just as Korn started playing to go get some food, and let me say, Korn fucking rock live. The cover of Another Brick In The Wall was amazing. Then LP came out, and I went nuts, even though I was hideously sick during their set. Wish was just as amazing as I expected, and Chester was like a ball of energy during that song. The set was amazing as always, with Bert coming out during Faint and Jonathan appearing for OSC. I was also extremely happy when they played Figure.09 :) So after LP wrapped up we went back to the car, where I also got soaked in a puddle that looked a lot more shallow than it was. After about a half hour in the parking lot, we got out, and I still felt really sick. Jeff wanted to get out of Tampa, so we drove for a couple of hours before settling down at an Econolodge. I was sick as shit, and fell asleep almostas soon as I laid down.
So the next morning, I still felt a little sick, but we got on our way. We had McDonald's for lunch/breakfast, and it was ok.Once again, I didn't finish it. We drove until we reached North Carolina, where we decided to stop for the night. During this time, we finalized plans to go and meet Michelle in Springfield. We had Pizza Hut for dinner here, and watched SmackDown! which was from Hamilton. My brother was at this show too and we spotted him in the audience. The next day we drove until we reached CT. We also saw some cool sites, like a Philadelphia Eagles game in progress, where the Flyers play, Yankees Stadium, and the WWE Headquarters Building! lol. We stopped for the night at an Econolodge (see a pattern yet?) and I would wake up early the next day because of my excitement of meeting Michelle.
We got to Springfield around whenever, I think it was noonish. Michelle came on AIM, and we agreed to meet at the Basketball Hall of Fame.Me and Jeff were waiting, and she showed up. She came over, and I was absolutely floored. Michelle is absolutely stunning, the most beautiful girl I have ever met. Now I know she will argue this, but to me, I truly believe she is the most beautiful girl in the world. She gave me some stickers and stuff, and said she was with Angel, and we had to drive around following him to pick up some money. We did that for awhile, and finally we fed up of that and Michelle got into our car after I cleaned up the mess a bit (Michelle,I am sorry about that mess) and we went to the hugest mall I have ever been in. We went to Hot Topic, and I was in heaven. I mean, band shirts and merch surrounding me, and I was there with a beautiful woman. I gave Jeff enough money to cover the rest of the trip, and went nuts. I bought a Linkin Park Faint tee, an Atreyu - The Curse tee, an Avenged Sevenfold tee (which I am wearing now) a Slipknot wristband, and an LP wristband. I wanted to buy Michelle something, but she said no. Anyways, we left there, and we went and got some money for Michelle and then went to the other mall, and the other Hot Topic. I was planning on buying another LP wristband, and a Static-X wrist cuff, but ended up buying Lacuna Coil - Unleashed Memories special edition with the Halflife EP added instead. We then went to FYE and Michelle bought a CKY clock and a magazine with Ville in it. We also ate during this time, at a KFC. Me and Michelle got the same thing, and both of us didn't really eat it lol. Finally we went to take her to her friend's house, who wasn't home, but we took the pictures in the driveway. There was a really good pic of her kissing me but Jeff fucked up when taking the picture, and thus it didn't get it :/. We then took her to Sarah's house, and she went inside to get her to come out and say hi, but she wouldn't cuz she looked like "crap" lol. So Michelle came back out and we said our goodbyes, and I told her she had to come in September to see Killswitch with me. I got a hug and a kiss, and we were on our way again. Jeff was amazed with me because of my usual uncomfortability around females, and said he was amazed at how cool and relaxed I was being around Michelle. Meeting Michelle was honestly the highlight of the entire trip for me, and I can't wait to hang out with her again. Of course, taking the pictures may have been a mistake, seeing as I got teased when I got home for having pics with a girl (I am thought of highly around here) and I was teased saying that she was my girlfriend, and questions about whether I banged her or not. As you can tell, my family is very mature. But honestly, meeting Michelle was one of the greatest days of my life, as I had so much fun, and I totally not regret driving 10-20 hours out of the way just to see one person. I love Michelle :)
So we ended up stopping at a Motel 8 in Amsterdam, NY. We got up the next morning and ate our leftover Domino's and we were on the road again. We crossed the border, and I got home around 7-ish on Sunday. And that is it.
So, today was the first day since before I left that I shaved. I decided against trying to grow a beard, but I am gonna try sideburns again, and also a goatee. We will see how it turns out.
So my focus now is getting Michelle to come visit for the concert, and peoples to come for my birthday in October. Good luck to me lol...
Michelle, I am gonna order tix soon, and if u come, ur ticket is paid for, so please come. The only thing you have to worry about is getting here lol, I will take care of everything else :)
