A moment before the dawn..
So life's been going as normal.. I've been getting SEVERE headaches every day though.. it's really painful and frustrating. >< It's been killing me on some calls too I think, as while the customer is stating things I'm just sitting there my head bleeding out of my nose.. On saturday though enough was enough and I stole some of James' Ibprofen. Not the greatest stuff, but it helps a bit.
Anyways.. besides rampant headaches. :P I shadowed webchat on Friday. A MUCH better platform, I think. First I'm totally suited to it, of course, I mean I spend tons of my non-working time chatting on MSN anyways.. this way I'll do it while getting paid. :P Although of course it'll be a little bit different. They made it seem like it was so stressful also, "AHH ALL THOSE CHATS! YOU'LL GO CRAZY!" but it's only like.. 3 chats at most at any one time. It's more continous than the phones channel can be at times, but a lot less stressful.
I'm also looking forward, rather excited actually, about my BPS training. Collections, that is. Annnd the accompanying boost in pay also for learning a new channel. :)
I took my mom in last wednesday also for an interview at my old job, but she did not get the offer in the end. I'm guessing it's just because of the way the economy is they want to be more careful and not hire everyone like they did when I applied, even though back then we weren't in the best shape either, but not AS bad. I don't know, personally I think she would have been really suited for the job. She is more of a seller than I am, and it would have suited her. Oh well.. the search continues.. I'm sure we can find something for her.
Speaking of jobs, I need to start my search for a second job again. Things are starting to pack up on me, and I need some extra cash to replace those things.. or at least fix them.
Well, speaking of things that are broken.. my laptop for one is severely crashing on me. Every so often it does get overloaded and randomly shut off.. not really crash, but just, shuts off. This in itself is annoying, but not too bad. Now it's gotten so bad that it shuts off WAY too easily.. sometimes if I'm just watching a freakin video. Most recently I haven't even been able to play Deus Ex on this without it randomly shutting off.. I desperately need to reformat this computer. Something must have gotten in to it. It could also just be getting old, I know laptops age faster and I've been putting this to the verge of death many times for sure, but meh. Hopefully reformatting does the trick. I'll do that at some point after I back up everything.
