Today at coop I had to run peel tests so I told Casey I wanted to go to lunch and to wait, he said that he had to go get his so I figured that meant he was going to eat it out. Then I was in the Lab doing EO stuff and finishing up some stuff and Melvin goes out and tells me to meet him for lunch later, so I decided to give him a little time and I'll just eat with him. Then Casey came in and was like I'm eating lunch, you coming? and I said yeah I'll be in a bit. So I go and heat up my stuff and grab the carrots and hummus and eat with them, except there weren't any spaces left by Casey, the closest was two down to the left of him. So it's whatever, obviously I want to be eating with him but it's cool. This girl named Emmy sat between us and she talks a lot, so I was just kinda sitting quiet, and I was in a little bit of a funk anyway, Idk I was feeling my introverted weird self so I was just kinda quiet eating my food. Out of the corner of my eye I saw him leaning back, and I couldn't tell if he was trying to see me or what. The next thing I know he gets up, and I'm thinking he's going to get more water or something, and he comes around the table and sits across from me. I don't remember how I immediately reacted, but then Emmy commented and said oh I'm so sorry for sitting between you two I know you like to chat, and I said oh don't worry I'm stuck in the lab all day with him anyway and he just gives that look of "Yeah seriously".
He cares. He totally cares. That means the world to me. He doesn't think I'm just another employee. He cares. He caresssss!!
Also, I played that Matt Maher song the other day, it just randomly came up, and I caught him looking down at my Ipod a ton trying to see what the song was.
I dont have a clue how TGIFs will work out this Friday. Or apple picking. Just praying it'll go how it's supposed to.
