How the hell did it get to be the middle of July already? It seems like the last time I checked it was barely June. This past year seems like a blur now, but I don't remember time going as fast as it seems to have been doing. I wish it would slow down a little so I can enjoy this last month of summer. But it can speed up all it wants in the fall, because I'm pretty positive this next semester is going to be the worst of my life.
A lot has happened since I last wrote in here... I think. No more summer school, a Ben Folds concert, a couple of trips, discovering my love for and natural skill at Spades, learning the hard way that you shouldn't lock your knees for extended periods of time. I can also now say I've seen a guy shoot a bottle rocket from his ass.
I think I've discovered my calling. Baking. I made cheesecake brownies today. Ugh, they're so amazing. You need to come by and have one, they might change your life. There's something really therapeutic about baking, to me. The day after my grandpa died, I spent all day baking close to 100 cookies. It was a couple days before Christmas, so that's what everyone got from me as their Christmas present. Anyway, I've compiled a bunch of recipes that I want to try out and I'm so excited about it!!
I think I had more to say but I forgot it while I was saying everything else. I'm going to share with anyone who reads this the best Family Guy clip ever. The reason why it's so awesome should be obvious.
