Up all night again
So the tradition continues.... the night before Fanime, I must be at the sewing machine, sewing my last minute costume (and in this case, bridesmaid gowns) while practicing my songs for karaoke contest. Why must they always have it on the first day? Just one extra day to practice is too much. Another tradition...going to con with no spending money, and just trying to make the money by selling stuff at Swap Meet. Poor Henry, he must sell my stuff for me, for I shall be singing (hopefully well). I really want to win this year.....really want to win. I will only accept second place from one person at the entire convention...Amanda Holland, whom I have tried to convince to enter because she has such an exquisite voice which is much smoother than mine. *sigh* I hope I don't cry if I don't get first place. But I so hate the competition part of it. I know there are so many other vocalists in the world better than me, I just hope they are not all at the same convention in the same contest as me. Just once, and then I'll never enter again....
