what an odd week. i haven't seen any of you for about seven days. monday through thursday was drumline camp. one of the hardest things ever. you have to concentrate on the most minuscule details for such a long time, it's easy to just lose track of time and identity. but i am so content just to finally have some confidence when i approach my drum, snare line isn't so scary anymore. another up-side is some of the hilarious people. oh man. thursday night i hung out with scott, andrew, jeff, and chris, but that was just a train wreck. i was so tired and irritable. friday my family and i left for las colinas where we spent all weekend at a hotel. i would have rather hung out with dane/daniel/phil and shot off fireworks. maybe next year. i guess we missed out on the big party too. maybe, uh, next...eh, never mind. in the mean time, i'll be sitting here staring at the lights in this monitor, thinking about the one thing i can never really take my mind off of.
