01.25.08 :: CERVELLO ELETTRONICO LIVE! + DJs Ras DNA, Vlad, Liebchen

Welcome to Submerge in 2008! To kick off our first edition of the new year, we have for you our first live showcase. For no extra cover, we have for you Crunch Pod recording artist, Cervello Elletronico! Last seen in D.C. opening for TERRORFAKT and E-Craft in 2005, this rhythmic industrial wunderkind has gone on to tour Europe and hit several national and international festivals. Unfamiliar with their music? Check out their site to hear some samples, then! Elettronico will hit the stage at 11:00 PM (or shortly thereafter).

In addition to this live performance, we will also have our staffers RasDNA, Vlad, and Liebchen on hand to mix it up with everything from synthpop to power electronics before and after the show.

-------------------------------

Submerge is self-described as D.C.'s home for "industrial" music, covering everything from EBM to synthpop, powernoise to hellektro, guitar-industrial to goth-crossover.

Currently, Submerge is on the second floor of Club Expo, a space that features a nice hardwood dance floor, a small stage, plus ample seating and tables for those who need a break from dancing.

For those in the 21+ set, please note that we will feature nightly drink specials of $3.00 rail and domestic beers from 9pm to 10:30pm. After 10:30 PM, our prices are $4.00 for rail and domestics, $5.00 for call, $6.00 for high call, and $7.00 for top shelf. Keep in mind, our staff bartender may be a familiar face as well - Jay, who has bartended at events like Alchemy and currently Arcadia. Additonally, if you're looking for food, there will be a great menu available to select from, including some American, Italian and even Ethiopean choices!
