Woohoo!
Great news! All of my Portugal pictures miraculously survived the Great Ocean Soaking of 2003 and I can now post some to share! I'll do so when I finish cropping them. Lazarus the Camera, you ROCK!
Oh, and a bunch of us went to Spiral last night to celebrate the fantastic Miss Al's birthday. It was fun and I ran into my friend Steve there (which is the ONLY good thing about Lansing having a gay community the size of a shoebox - you run into your friends a lot), which was cool. The highlight of the evening was this middle-aged drag queen with a LARGE wig on coming over to us and telling us that there were girls he knew asking to meet me and would I like some company. I told him no thank you but that I was very flattered, and I saw him again as we were leaving and he said "just an introDUCtion?!?" I'm in demand, oowhee!
So now the Intrepid Crisis Counselor has to go Counsel. I am NOT in the mood for this today, especially not 6 hours after falling into a semi-drunken slumber. Oh well. Four more months and I'll be gradumawated...
