i got eraserhead in the mail. watched some of it. weird weird weird but a must have dvd.
they're showing lost highway in LA in April, I really want to go. Someone needs to go with me.
i'm obsessed with the blockbuster movie pass, i rent like 2 movies a day. I'm in the middle of Ray. I also rented Less than Zero. I loved that book.
When I drink, sometimes I get so bored, and the same thoughts go on repeat. Drank the other night at jaime's. Drinking is a rare occasion for me, but sometimes fun. Need to start planning the trip to Vegas (turning 21 in may).
i have a bad feeling i will lose my virginity to a prostitute in Las Vegas. Its not that I want to, its just . . . I'll be drunk, and have a lot of money, and friends will prob have some influence. And . . . yeah. I don't like being a virgin, I just kind of find it odd that I am, most people do.
Today at work this girl said "Cassidy how many girls have you slept with?"
when i said none she was shocked.
whatever.
i mean wtf am i gonna wait til i'm married or something, no.
A friend of mine (Mike), seems to think I will gain more confidence when I lose my virginity. And girls love confidence.
whatever.
went to the Death from Above 1979 show in LA. so fucking good. Icarus Line opened (no one knew it was them, and they were just OK). Controller.Controller opened as well, they were awesome. No one danced, everyone stood there, i moved slightly. But when DFA79, I rocked out. I was shaking, convulsing, my neck felt broken the next day. I was upfront the whole time, getting bruised and beaten. Everyone was moshing as more then one person has said: LEARN HOW TO FUCKEN DANCE! It was so just . . . awesome. for lack of a better word. DFA79 is one of my fav bands to see them rock out, with me singing along in the front. theres only a couple shows in my life where i really felt something. here they are in no order:
-the Nerve Agents in the vets hall basement (pure "punk rock")
-DFA79 at the Echo (pure rocking out)
-Modern Life is War at the Che Cafe (pure raw emotion)
-Dillinger Escape Plan and the Locust in San Diego (pure insanity)
-the Killers at the Galaxy (only cause really i got to go backstage and meet the band)
