HELLO ALL

The holidays are fast approaching, and while I'm drowning under projects and papers and stuff right now, soon I won't be! Yay! So, I figure I'll have time to do this:

Gifts Gifts Gifts!

And when I say that I mean fic. I'm broke and untalented in most other arts, but that's what I have to offer, so if there's fic you want written, leave me a ( Read more... )

Oooh, I'm really nervous about requesting something very difficult or out there. The variety is only so you don't get trapped by things you can't write. You are so awesome for trying this ♥

------

I'd really, really love a high school AU of the x-files where Mulder and Scully are still investigating the paranormal but are also faily, dorky teenagers. Sort of a Veronica Mars type vibe? Maybe he's on the school news paper, or is the resident loner of the school or something? I don't imagine either of them is incredibly popular and maybe they've never had much cause to talk to each other before until mysterious events throw them into each other's orbit?

OR

Wash (a must) and either Mal or Simon from Firefly pretend dating (maybe it's necessary to gain access to a particular area on some party planet idek)

OR

Blaine and Sam plotting some joint enterprise that is really amazing and awesome and romantic (and possibly entirely ill advised) to surprise Kurt and Mercedes. Maybe for Christmas?

I think the X-files AU is the top one. I've never read any X-files fic of any kind though so it'll all be new to me and I have no idea what I'd like and not like. At a guess I think that the highschool/teenage setting is to slightly up the dorky and fun factor but the scary and dangerous aspect of the original show is v. important to me too.

Yeah, maybe that, it just feels quite demanding though and I haven't read anything but Glee for quite a while so it's a bit nervous making. :DDDD

Welp, I'll see what I can do! I mean, Mulder has the whole broody, snarky, obnoxious teenager thing down to an art in canon, so it shouldn't be nearly as much work as you're worried it'll be :DD I've never actually watched VM, but I'll find an ep or two to get a feel for the vibe. Is it true that it's a little Buffy-esque?

(I was totes hoping you'd go for this one. I can't seem to resist writing xf aus, lol ♥)

I mean you should watch VM anyway because I'm pretty sure you'd love it. It's not necessary to do so though, it's a little buffyesque in that there's a lot of banter and vigor even though sometimes very angsty or serious things are happening at the same time (the first season is an amazing whodunnit).

I think the only thing I was getting at is a highschool AU that is still fun and teenage but not in an entirely squeaky clean after school special way.

lololol, this is way too much info for a simple prompt I'm sorry. Seriously any scene or anything would make my day completely.
