Days after day of failed trials spelled exhaustion for the old koopa wizard. He knew this wasn't going to be easy. Aside from practically going behind the city's back to do his plotting, manipulating the weather, if only temporarily, was a feat beyond any ordinary magikoopa's capabilities. With pride and arrogance, Kamek would state he was anything but that. To his credit, it wasn't far from the truth.
There was a hill not far from the city that gave Kamek a good vantage point to start his spells. He figured his magic would have a better effect the closer he was to the sky. He'd stay there for hours on end, coming back the next day tired, but persistent in making this work. He noticed it was growing a few degrees colder at a slow rate. If Kamek had any doubts prior this experiment, they were gone now.
A took a while to get the hang of what he was doing, learning which spells he should do at what moment, how they would react to outside sources and what would happen if he made the wind blow just so in this direction. It was a bit like science in that sense. By the end of the arduous week, Kamek caught a snowflake landing on his sleeve. This was it. He was so close to having full control of the weather, he can feel it. The last thing he needed to do was keep the magic going at a constant rate, then let nature take it's course from there.
To say Kamek came home tired that evening was a severe understatement, rest being the only thought lingering on his mind. He briefly wondered what Naval would think of his accomplishment before drifting to sleep.
((tl;dr it'll be snowing in Diamond City from December 15th to somewhere around January. It's expect lotsa snow this week with even cooler temperatures and foggy skies! As for Kamek, he's just gonna....be passed out in bed for some time. Using magic takes up the user's energy as well))
