Well, that's it! I have left college! I'm not totally gutted, just a bit sad. Yet hyper also... Not sure what's going on!
Had Sociology first thing this morning (quite a nightmare to get up for a 9am having not got to sleep till past 1am after the ball! However I probably had an easier job than some, what with me not having a hangover!) The lesson was boring...Andrea appeared to be in a bad mood and kept trying to make us work for a whole hour and 25 minutes! She gave up in the end and let us go five minutes early, lol!
Spent some time in the library printing off millions of revision handouts and looking at some of the ball photos with Andrew! Then we had our last tutor session... For all Gary was quite useless and slow with the whole UCAS thing, he is very lovely and sweet - he brought us chocolate and told us we were wonderful! He also had a message from Mike (our tutor last year who left) who had rung him up last night or something. We all got excited and there was lots of 'awwww, we love Mike!' (we seemed to temporarily forget how much he annoyed us when he taught us!)
We had Media last period as well...that was sweet! Mark, our favourite Media teacher, got all emotional, bless him - and he brought us chocolate too! He's so sweet, all little and smiley. He said we were his favourite class (although he probably said that to them all, lol!) I shall miss him!
So yeah, there had been lots of photograph taking and book signing and hugging!
Yesterday was more of an emotional day really, because it was the last Lit lesson, and Lit is the subject I've enjoyed the most, the class with the people I've been closest too, and of course the most amazing teacher! We had a card that we'd all signed for Jo, and Andrew & I went into town the lesson before to buy her some flowers from all of us! She was all sweet when we gave them to her and she cried and told us she loved us, lol! I also gave her a card just from me, to let her know how wonderful she's been. I also said that her enthusiasm for the subject is so infectious, which it is, and she's really been an amazing teacher! She wrote me a lovely little message in my leaving book...
To my very own Jane Austen character (she decided I look like someone out of a nineteenth century novel, lol!)
You have graced the lessons. Your writing is exquisite and I'm sure you have many more great insights about literature to enjoy.
Much love, Jo x
Isn't it sweeeeeet! We were sitting round at lunch time yesterday as well, and she was asking us all where we were going and what we were doing and things, and she got very excited every time anyone said they were going to study anything Literature related - in true Jo fashion! I shall miss her - as Andrew says, she is a legend!
Think that is about all...Shall post pictures shortly. And write about the ball later as well! There's too much to say!
