So I have heard recently some terrible news about a good friend of Jordan and I, another couple friend in fact. I guess well he isn't such a good friend. We hear that he is telling people we don't know very well that Jordan is not a real Marine because he has never been to Iraq. Clark says he has room to talk because the guy that says it has

Clark says he has room to talk because the guy that says it has been to Iraq with the Army.....If it wasn't for Jordan's job Marines would not get paid while they are in Iraq, would not have plane tickets to where they need to be, and even worse yet would not have plane tickets home. Jordan couldn't go to Iraq if he tried due to his job title, and he is hard enough on himself for it, he doesn't need people touching that soft spot."

After reading this, and knowing he was in the army & been to Iraq & all (he told me about it the first night I met him & Clark), I had a very strong feeling this was Shane being discussed. Sure enough, he is mentioned later. Shane & Becky also got into a fight with some of my friends in Lubbock, and now they don't talk. Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against Shane personally, and if it weren't for him, Clark & I might not be together, so in a way I should be thanking him....However I DO think in a way that was harsh of him to say that about Jordan, but then again, I don't want to judge too much because I personally have never been to Iraq myself and have no idea what it's like. I may be wrong, but I think it sounds like based on that experience of being in Iraq & seeing everything going on there is where Shane gets that negative opinion towards those who have never been where he's been & seen what he's seen. However I do STRONGLY agree with what is said that just because Jordan has not been to Iraq doesn't make him a lesser person. I think the thought that it does make Jordan lesser is BS. It would be a disappointing shame if Shane ever did act arrogant & mock, laugh or make up an excuse. It's normal to get angry towards that kind of response, but then again, people are who they are, and most of them do not change.
