No modeling :(
OK so I didn't make the model cut. .. I'm kind of disappointed but at the same time, relieved. With the wreck and the moving and all the insanity at my job, taking off to LA for 3 days would have really put me in a bind. Even though the opportunity was fantastic, my real life is more important. Althogh I have to admit, it was a real boost to my confidence, and I'm much more at ease with my looks and body now. *laughs at self* So vain, I have to have interest from a world renowned model in order to feel confident. Ah well, everyone needs a leg up from time to time.
The weekend itself was actually pretty decent. Free beer on Saturday was awesome, it was great weather and Jim Danahey performed his Irish pub songs.. then we went to see Jake and Syn's new house, which is freaking GORGEOUS and I'm so excited for them!!!!! Sunday got some stuff packed, went and saw "The Science of Sleep" which was bizzarre but a lot of independent French fun. Then Winfield and I went to see Shakespeare inthe Park perform "Much Ado About Nothing" since the tickets were his bday present to me.. That was awesome too! We didn't knwo you could take a picnic and wine, but we still had loads of fun, and it was very well performed.
Tomorrow I get to meet with my claims adjuster about my car. My stepdad called me to make sure I knew about the $500 deductible, and told me he'll cover it!! So my car will get fixed either way, and hopefully my insurance won't go up too much.
