I've been getting back into cooking lately. Today I attempted sweet potato gnocchi - I didn't do fantatically, I'll admit, but I enjoyed it - apart from the immense faffiness of the whole thing. bristol stuff:

well i have an offer of a possible room to rent in bristol. it's not as cheap as rent here was, but i was expecting that. i don't know what i should think of as a reasonable price really. need to do more research. but the house looks very nice in the pics i was sent. probably worth a snoop around there sometime soon.

oh yeah, i'm cooking tea for the family tonight.

on the menu is a beef stew with lots of red wine going on in there ... topped with lemon and herb dumplings.

i've never actually cooked stew before, so i'm hoping it'll be alright. smells damn nice anyway.
