So here's where my hair's at at the mo - I would have styled it nicely or something, but I couldn't be bothered. It's still dried out from the dying shenanigans - it needs a few (hundred) good conditioning treatments.
I stupidly bought thooper dooper bleach, decided I really needed to do my roots before combatting the yellowness of the rest of my locks, but then ran out of bleach once I'd finished with the roots. Duh. I toned it, it looked alright, then last night I re-bleached the lengths but stupidly got scared and didn't leave it on for as long as I probably should have. So I don't think that made that much difference, but after another good toning it's looking pretty much how I want it. Result.
I know it's damaged to shit, but I don't know if I'll bother to regularly get my roots done by a salon again. Maybe as a treat, but I forget how nice it is to just get things how I want them. I have intense restructuring sprays and conditioners, I straighten way less ... fingers crossed the hideous snapping won't occur again. (touch wood).
I'll go somewhere to have a nice trim soon, and keep experimenting with violet shampoos to keep the yellows out.
What a larvely day it's been. Work's still non soul destroying. Seeing as we're in charge of our own workload for this (school-based) term, I'm just hoping the work will balance out and I won't be left with not a whole lot to do any any point. I'm still wondering what the hell happens during the summer holidays, when there'll be no teaching courses (I'm guessing) and no teachers at school. Hmmm? Six weeks of thumb twiddling? I pray not.
Oh, I may be working with a racist though. I'm not sure, due to not being able to hear a chunk of what she was saying, but it sounded a bit scary. Why oh why?
