ok, i'll stick with the general theme of lj today and say it - 'dear lord, it's fookin freezing out there. oh yes, yesitis now.'
today i was up with the (lazy) larks, and crammed onto the overly hot train with the working masses in order to be prodded by the nurse. always a fun start to the day, but it wasn't evil bitch nurse .. i can be grateful for that.
i then treated myself to buying actual earthly things in town. got Diplo's 'fabric live' cd - it's playing now, and it's pretty daaaaamn good.
why is it that when other shops are still quiet, primark is already bursting to the seams with frantic shoppers, snatching at the messy piles of everything like their lives depend on it? there is no quiet time in primark. this is not fair, as i like to buy bargain-basement priced goods in peace. anyway, i got pjs, pants and socks. i just about restrained myself from buying belts, shoes, boots, a coat, trousers, top, bra sets galore ... i'm on a budget y'all!
cuthbert got cleaned yesterday. she didn't like it much, so she still looks dirty. do toy cats and washing machines mix? i'm not sure if this one does, but i may try and see what happens.
DAMN this cd is good!
