I certainly hope so! Two chaptered fics I've tried to write (ehh well, for Soul Eater and Pokemon, both started a long time before I settled snugly in my current writing style), and the first one died after three chapters, whilst I've been staring at the seventh chapter of the second one for about two months now and have made noooo progress at all. Woe betide ;_;

It is, quite ;_; So far, that Axel and Saix backstory has one and a half chapters, but I'm rewriting the first one. I just hope I can see it to the end and not break off halfway as always.

Ooooh. That's lovely 8D But I think there is one! Have you read ts_soliloquy's AU pirate fic, featuring Luxord and Xaldin? I haven't either but I should start sometime.
