YESS! We have enough emo-ness in our lives, afterall (:

AHHHHHH you have to watch ano hana! Apart from that, I really like Mawaru Penguindrum, it's full of wtf-moments, in both the random and creepy sense. But it's amazing like that. The plot is very unique and gripping, the characters you can't help but be drawn too. And the animation, the animation is amazing. The world of penguindrum is very colourful.

I don't know what else to recommend since it depends, what sort of anime do you like?

I WILL! Probably during the so-called study break, hahaha! I've heard a bit about Mawaru Penguindrum, but not much about the details, so I can give that a try as well! Still have yet to watch Ao no Exorcist though. I need to download that soon, haha.

Um, well, it sort of depends. I tend to watch what friends recommend! I just finished watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica and oh my god. It was wonderful, but it was like a series of punches to the heart ;___;

PFFFT. Penguindrum is kind of like, um, a better watch that AoE imo? I dropped AoE at ep 10 or so! I really enjoy the manga version better, somehow. In any case, Penguimdrum is amazing and I could spend forever babbling about it. The symbolism comes in like heaps and heaps, which I tend to adore because I love digging deep haha (:

OMG HOMURA!! My favourite character forever. I loved episode 10, everything else seemed unable to compete with it, not even Sayaka's transformation (which was really sad but creepy). Penguindrum is like Madoka (lol sorry i am biased for penguindrum now), it's cutesy on the outside but really dark/twisted on the inside. And SYMBOLISM. SYMBOLISM EVERY WHERE!

Well if I remember any other anime that is like Madoka, I'll be sure to tell you!

Haha, so I heard! I was told the manga version is a lot better, and the same goes for Deadman Wonderland, which I want to try and pick up sometime, along with possibly Pandora Hearts and Karneval. But oh man that sounds great already! I LOVE DARK SYMBOLISM AND ALL THAT GASP.

YES HOMURA. SOB. I was already sniffling through a few earlier episodes but oh my god that one took the cake. Many distinctly unmanly tears were shed at great length over the course of the last few episodes ;___; But all right! Now you make me want to watch it C8
