(no subject)
It was an eventful week at work. I managed to side swipe a car with a 15 pass van. I've logged about 2000 miles in large vans so this was straight up me being sloppy. Opps.
We have a two day weekend this week- YAY. Unfortunately I've spent it working and networking. That's part of the job. The network. Getting work comes from keeping in touch. I went to a birthday party for someone who been working on NPP with me- he's fucking awesome to hang with and has got mad rep as a PA.
Then yesterday it was the wrap party for "Commander and Chief" which was great as well. It was held at Redondo on the ocean. I got to see some people I hadn't for awhile and network. I made a decent enough impression on the producers during the shoot that last night they all separately talked to me about bringing me up the ladder. And they're the ones who brought it up. So I guess I'll find out what I'll be doing for them when thier next thing goes up. It's great to think that these guys have a 4 picture deal and I have a chance to grow with the company. Sweet. They might have one going up in six weeks or they may be going up in September. Either way- I still need to find some work in between then and now.
Also there's a chance I might be moving with my roommates to Burbank. I don't want to jinx it so no details yet- but if it works out, this pad would be slammin.
Well that's it for now. I've got anther party to go to today.
