it's the most nerdiest time of the year!
Last week, something happened for the first time in a long time... due to school, sickness, and general holiday business, I had NO real band practices or shows. I was very much at a loss. What to do with my life?
At first, I tried filling the void by drawing a little comic, "The Mothballs in Space." I'm thinking about making my next tour diary in comic form, so I figured it would be good practice. However, in and of itself, it wasn't that great, so you don't get to see it. I think I actually managed to lose it already! I can, however, fill you in on the details: Carlos wears a tight space suit, Ryan mistakenly drinks alien sperm, and the Mothballs' set is ruined when an alien sits in with his harmonicon.
That took up a little time, but then I found myself turning to the dark side. Not even fake band practices could keep me from turning into a full-blown NERD! Video games, board games, slowly absorbing my life. I think I'll play Zelda:Windwaker all day until the Makes Nice practice, then hopefully I'll be able to come home, do some drugs, have some sex, wear sunglasses inside, whatever the cool kids are doing these days...
