How to Upload a Screenplay to Google Docs in Pictures
This is a step-by-step guide to uploading a Word document to Google Docs and making it viewable by everyone. Hopefully this will help the members that are having difficulties posting documents to Google Docs. Please, bear in mind, you must post your screenplay in Word format if you are posting it to Google Docs. For whatever reason, Google Docs has issues making PDFs accessible to everyone. If anyone knows of a website online that can handle PDFs uploads better than Google Docs that's free, please let me know.
I'm not certain how to make the last picture small enough for all the text to be seen while still being legible. As a result, here's the text from the last picture:
Your document is now published as a web page! This is the link that you will need to copy/paste into an entry in your personal LJ.
Before copy/pasting the link into your LJ, you need to make sure the new web page is viewable by everyone.
In order to do that, copy the link, sign out of Google Docs, then paste the link into your favorite browser. If you're able to see the web page document while signed out of Google Docs, then everyone else will be able to see it, too!
