Update to the DeviantArt Identity Theft thingie
So, I reported the guy to DeviantArt and they took the pictures down. I got an email from him later saying (and I quote):
"I am sorry for that I did infact created one that look alot like yours but yours was better i am sorry "

Hey, if you ever want any help or advice on making another, please ask. Like I said, my only problem was that you used my photos as yours. However, the idea of helping another person out making a Revan costume? Love it. :) So, if you ever do work on it again and have any questions, please feel free to write me. I can't guarantee that I'll have the answers, but I can try.

Haven't heard back. Don't really expect to. But if he asked for advice, I'd give it. I'd like to think that fandom folk can support each other. And IF he truly wanted to learn, I'd help out. Do I believe he actually made his own? Hmmm...maybe. Maybe not. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, at least consciously.
