Oh, Whoops--I'm still a bitch.
So you might remember the talentless hack who's ruining fanart for me...thought I'd give everyone a little update.
I left the world's most double-sided, passive-aggressive comment on her SUPER REALZ SKILLZ picture about a week ago:
WOW! You should do a LiveStream of your art! I'd love to watch you make things like this!
Needless to say, she hasn't responded :D
But today she popped out with this little doozy:
and the description that says (I've bolded the ridiculous understatements and/or lies):
Yeesh, sheer fabric is a real pain!
Anyway, this came about because someone uploaded a piece called "So it shall be written", or something along those lines, which made me think of the Ten Commandments movie. After my train of thought jumped from one track to another, I ended up deciding to do an Egyptian themed Zutara piece. I used a screenshot from the Ten Commandments for a reference, which is why Katara looks more like Anne Baxter than, well, Katara, but I'm still pleased with it. I'm especially pleased with Zuko's scar! I hate drawing it because I never feel it comes out right, but this time it turned out pretty much how I wanted it. ^^ And yeah, I was stumped on the background, so you get blurry blue curtains!
and then decided to hit the Google...
WOW. IS SHE GOOD. She even referenced down to the EXACT HUES. And wow, good thing she thought of those blue curtains to take up her background. WHEREVER DOES SHE GET THESE AWESOME THOUGHTS?!! AMAZING.
By the way, if you scale her fanart down to approx. 0.55 or 0.56 and reduce the alpha you can layer them RIGHT ON TOP OF EACH OTHER (give or take the extra wads of hair she gave Katara--OOOH, ORIGINAL).
I am trapped in the sticky situation of being in a DAclub with her so I don't want to start shit...and yet I think it's utter bullshit that she still claims to pull these out of her head.
So yeah. Her piece is called "Egyptian Zutara" and the link to the screenshot is here should anyone have more public wrath and guts than me. UGHHHHHH.
